NCC

NCC is the biggest and the most disciplined organization of the youth in the country. It offers variety of social and adventurous activities. In addition, it provides the elementary military training of their cadets to boost the morale and provide them unforgettable moments and experiences to cherish throughout their lives.

Aims & Objectives :--

  • a) To develop qualities of Character, Courage, Commandership, Discipline, Leadership, Secular outlook, Spirit of adventure and sportsmanship and the ideals of selfless service among the youths to make them better citizens.

  • b) To create a human resource of organized, trained and motivated youth to provide leadership in all walks of life including the armed forces and be always available for the service of the nation.

Core Values :--

The NCC is a responsive, learning and continuously evolving organization. It’s activity is guided by certain core values that we endeavour to instill among all ranks of the NCC.

These include the following :--

  • 1. A sense of patriotic commitment to encourage cadets to contribute to national development.

  • 2. Respect for diversities in religion, language, culture, ethnicity, life style and habitat to instill a sense of National unity and social cohesion.

  • 3. Abiding commitment to learn and adhere to the norms and values enshrined in the Indian Constitution.

  • 4. Understanding the value of a just and impartial exercise of authority.

  • 5. Ability to participate in community development and other social programmers.

  • 6. Sensitivity to the needs of poor and socially disadvantaged fellow citizens.

  • 7. Inculcating habits of restraint and self-awareness.

  • 8. Understanding the values of honesty, truthfulness, self-sacrifice, perseverance and hard work.

  • 9. Respect for knowledge, wisdom and the power of ideas.

  • 10. A healthy life style free of substance abuse and other unhealthy practices.

History :--

Ambah P.G. College used to have NCC from the days of 60’s. Prof. Prabhakar Sharma was the founder NCC officer of the college. Later Prof. B.V. Singh, Prof. R.K. Lavania, Prof. P.K. Sharma and Prof. J.P. Singh took over as NCC in the college. Under the Supervision of that officers NCC of this college, create a history and established their distinguished prestige in M.P. as a lot of students were selected to participated in Republic Day Parade and thal Sena Camp held at New Delhi every year. Our Cadets used to be on the top positions of almost all state and national level comptetions of NCC.
